A flower-child at heart, my friends will tell you that I have been a practitioner of herbal medicine since my adolescence. I started with classes in Herbology while at U.C. Santa Cruz in undergrad. Santa Cruz has a robust culture of Eastern medical philosophy, and with this exposure it did not take long for for me to decide that I wanted to be a healer for life. Thus began my journey towards becoming a doctor, and by this time I already knew that I wanted to deliver babies in the home environment.
I graduated with a B.S. degree in neurobiology and behavioral science from the University of California, Irvine and then attended medical school at the University of Southern California. I went on to study obstetrics and gynecology with an internship and residency training at Kern Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center, and now I have a private practice in Redlands, CA.
Blending Eastern and Western health care theories is my specialty, and delivering babies is my calling. I have a wonderful husband who also practices medicine and herbology in the Inland Empire, which is also where my extended family resides. We are a family for the people, and believe that your health care is about what fulfills you. You should be healthier with every encounter, and that is my goal for you.
